If you love Travis Scott, shoes and Playstation, we’ve got some news for you. Today, Playstation announced that Scott will join the brand as a strategic creative partner. Additionally, we get a glimpse of what appears to be a collaboration between Scott’s “Cactus Jack” brand, Nike and Playstation. The video – primarily a tribute to Maxell’s 1980 ‘Blown Away Guy’ commercial – shows Scott wearing the shoes as he sits down to play on the Playstation 5. The shoes are Dunk Lows with an inverted swoop and logo Playstation on the heel. Since the video is in black and white, we have no idea what color the shoes may come in. “I can’t wait to present everything Cactus Jack has worked on with Sony and the PlayStation team,” Scott said on the official Playstation blog. “Most importantly, I’m excited to see how the PlayStation fans and family are responding, and can’t wait to release games with everyone very soon!” Something wrong with this swoosh? Scott teased the making of this video almost a month ago on his Instagram, showing off his knees and the new Playstation 5 Dualshock controller. No shine from the shoes could be seen then. In March, Scott also posted a photo showing the Nike x Playstation Air Force 1s, asking, “Who’s ready for the PS5?” No stranger to the game, Scott also starred in a Fortnite “gig” earlier this year. As part of the ‘astronomical’ battle royale event, an in-game portrayal of Scott dominated players and drew 12.3 million viewers. Looking for more eSport fashion? Discover Inven Culture. .
