The requirements of this particular screenwriter position specifically call for a “desire to write stories set in feudal Japan”. Considering that Ghost of Tsushima takes place during this time – 1274 to be exact – this could indicate that Sucker Punch is not quite ready to leave the world of this new PlayStation exclusive just yet, it’s important to note that this isn’t ‘maybe not for a traditional sequel, and could be for DLC, new story content for Ghost of Tsushima: Legends, or even a new standalone experience like Uncharted: Lost Legacy or Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles. Morales. Anyway, those who enjoyed Ghost of Tsushima, which was the PS4’s first best-selling original IP, there is reason to be hopeful.
