VENN (, the 24/7 live streaming network for games and entertainment, today announced the closing of a $ 26 million Series A funding. The round was co-led by investor BITKRAFT and new investor Nexstar Media Group, Inc. (Nasdaq: NXST). Jacobs will focus on growing and expanding VENN while overseeing content and business operations. Most recently, Jacobs ran a third-party production company he co-founded, whose clients included Viacom, the NBA, Global Citizen, and ACE Universe. This company was recently sold to EY-tech.
