Lots of eyebrows have been raised at John Rambo’s reveal in Mortal Kombat 11 Ultimate, but the tortured war veteran looks like he’s at home on his new battlefield. A new gameplay trailer shows how MK’s last guest fighter uses his guerrilla tactics for his fantastic opponents. Action Fans were first introduced to Rambo in the 1982 classic First Blood. In addition to being a brutal action flick, the film explores the troubling reality of veterans post-traumatic stress disorder and challenges. which they are confronted with to re-assimilate into society. His success and popularity spawned a huge media franchise and many sequels, including Rambo: Last Blood in 2019. While Rambo is unlikely to deliver an emotional monologue about his gruesome service in Vietnam and moves Scorpion to tears, he It’s exciting to see what he brings to the table in Mortal Kombat. Armed with his combat knife, his bow and, of course, his machine gun, Rambo is clearly a force to be reckoned with. Seeing how Netherrealm incorporated Rambo’s penchant for stealth traps shows the same attention to detail given to previous guest characters. To that end, Slyvester Stallone reprising the role serves as the icing on the cake of this bloody sundae. It should be hilarious to hear Sly rage about Outworld and the ninjas from hell. While it’s a bit odd to see Rambo throw kicks, at least his Fatality seems appropriate. Moreover, it is impossible to beat this battle cry.
