Legendary Galarian birds from Pokemon Sword & Shield’s Crown Tundra expansion will roam like legendary dogs from Pokemon Gold & Silver. A Game Informer preview from the new DLC explains that some of the images presented to the press were of a quest titled “ A Tree. Legendary of a Legendary Three ‘in which Galarian Moltres, Zapdos, and Articuno fight and then disperse across the Crown Tundra, which players discover as they explore the region. “They realize you are watching, and they scatter to different parts of the Crown Tundra,” the preview read. Following the trail of the legendary new trio, players will be able to track, hunt and possibly fight new forms of Pokémon, in a fashion that will be familiar to fans of the Pokemon Gold and Silver games. “The Pokemon Company compares the methods of meeting the legendary trio to how you encountered the legendary dogs of the Johto region,” adds the preview. has persisted throughout the franchise. The preview explains a particular situation where a Pokémon Master sneaks up on Galarian Zapdos but is caught, causing him to flee, forcing the player to catch up with him on their bike, with a battle awaiting the end of the most persistent process.
