Pokemon GO Halloween 2020 Event Details, What You Need To Know To Catch ‘Em All

[ad_1]
The Pokemon GO Halloween 2020 event is looming on the horizon and brings new fear-inspired incentives to play. With the new event kicking off later this week, here’s what you need to know to catch them while staying true to Halloween. When does the Pokemon GO Halloween 2020 event start? The upcoming event begins on October 23 at 6:00 p.m. PDT and runs until November 3 at the same time. This is a limited-time seasonal event, much like years past, so if you want any of the items detailed you’ll want to make sure you participate during that time. Players will be tasked with catching a variety of Ghost-type Pokémon while also getting an exclusive costumed Gengar and Sableye. The spawn rate of ghost types will increase exponentially for that specific event. To get the Gengar theme, you will need to participate in Pokemon GO raids. For the Sableye with the cute little Litwick hat, they will be found just by playing the game organically in nature. Or, you can just hatch a bunch of eggs. Galarian Yamask will also be a first-time addition to Pokemon GO with the Halloween event, which means even more pocket monsters to chase after those with those awesome growing pokedexes. Much like last year, there will be a special Pokemon GO search for this Halloween event called Scary Message Unmasked. This is where you can get your hands on the Galarian Yamask by helping Professor Willow with his investigations. Players will also have the option of grabbing a Spiritbomb as an additional treat, with a Shiny version also available. Pokemon GO Trainers can also purchase some goodies with the Boo Pack, Pumpkin Pack, and Creepy Crate Boxes with themed loot! Keep an eye out for Pokemon GO during all of the Halloween event days, as there will be a few other tips and treats between the start and end of this particular holiday. As for other ways to celebrate: Alolan Marowak Raid Day – On Saturday, October 31, 2020 from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. local time, Alolan Marowak will appear in raids more often. Catch Mastery: Ghost Day – On Sunday, October 25, 2020 from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. local time, Ghost-type Pokémon will spawn in the wild more often, and event-exclusive timed searches will be available for Completed. GO Battle League: Halloween Cup – From Monday October 26, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. PDT (GMT -7) to Tuesday November 3, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. PST (GMT -8), the Halloween Cup will be live in the GO Battle League. In this format, only Poison, Insect, Ghost, Dark, and Fairy-type Pokémon with 1500 CP or less will be allowed to participate. You can also win encounters with costumed Bulbasaur, Charmander and Squirtle !! The Pokemon GO Halloween 2020 event kicks off on October 23. Are you excited?
