North American Qualifiers for VALORANT First Strike To Feature a $100K Prize Pool

Riot Games with Nerd Street Gamers and Engine Media have announced that the VALORANT First Strike: North America Qualifiers will begin on October 26. The US $ 100,000 event will not see any invitations with all teams due to qualify for the main event. Accepted teams will have the chance to navigate two qualifiers in order to qualify for the final eight teams that will compete in the main event to become the very first first-strike champion. Nerd Street Gamers will host the event as the host of the 128-team tournament. From there, the tournament will be played up to 16 teams, which will participate in the first qualifier. Then the top four teams will move straight to the Main Event, and the next four teams will move on to the Second Open Tournament for another chance to fight for their place in First Strike. However, for this event there will be a second chance in the form of another qualifier, produced by Engine Media from November 11. The top 12 teams will advance to the second qualifier, joining the four teams from the first qualifier. From there, four more teams will take part in the First Strike event – a total of eight teams competing for a slice of the $ 100,000 pie.
