Ads have been quietly added to NBA 2K21 loading screens, which players cannot ignore. Stevivor reports that ads for the Oculus Quest 2 appeared during the pre-game loading screens in NBA 2K21. The videos show that the loading screens are longer than the ads themselves on PS4 and Xbox One, with no ability to skip any given ads until they’re finished showing. allowing you to change your rosters – but even this option is not available while the ad is playing.The ads have been confirmed on current gen consoles, but it remains to be seen if they will be present on newer versions generation of the game on arrival in November. We reached out to 2K for comment. The move has sparked controversy since its addition, not least because the game still sells for a high price. EA recently tried something similar with UFC 4, removing ad slots weeks after its release. An outcry from fans led the publisher to remove the ads from the game.
