Latest Valorant Update: Riot fixes Omen bug on Icebox

Riot has released another small update from Valorant, and aims to fix the revolutionary Omen bug on their new ‘Icebox’ map. Similar to the Killjoy turret bug, this bug allowed Omen players to teleport to areas that would otherwise be inaccessible, and allowed them to shoot enemies in those areas, giving the player an unfair competitive advantage. A fix is being released today that should stop an exploit where Omen is able to teleport and attack from an unplayable area on Icebox. All regions should start seeing the patch around 4 p.m. PDT.— VALORANT (@PlayVALORANT) October 21, 2020 Icebox released in Valorant at the start of Act 3 on October 13, but the map will not be available for competitive play. before October 27th. Hopefully these types of massive bugs will be detected by gamers and fixed by Riot before its ranked release. The upcoming Agent Skye is also expected to be featured in the competitive shooter alongside the release of Icebox in rated mode. It seems that a lot of recent bugs in Valorant have focused on Omen. Just a few months ago, Riot had to completely disable the in-game agent to fix an underlying bug that allowed Omen to teleport through barriers.
