Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and Pokimane to stream Among Us together

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, who is the representative for New York’s 14th Congressional District, hinted at the possibility of streaming with popular Twitch streamer Pokimane. It all started with a tweet from Cortez, known by her initials AOC, when she tweeted that she found the game fun, prompting a bunch of streamers to respond to her. Among the former was one of the most popular streamers Imane “Pokimane” Anys, who responded by saying “It would be an honor” to which AOC replied in the affirmative. Several other famous online personalities like Keemstar, James Charles and Disguised Toast have joined the bandwagon, causing the tweet to go viral and have over 200,000 likes. Among us, a social deduction game similar to the Mafia where the 2 teams, teammates and impostors try to outsmart each other. If the imposters kill all teammates before being caught they win, while the teammates must find and vote the 2 imposters or complete their tasks to be the winners. Does anyone want to play with me on Twitch to get the vote? (Never played but it sounds like a lot of fun) – Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (@AOC) October 19, 2020 AOC later tweeted that her Twitch channel had been set up, and that she was receiving her gear and its configuration up, it should not take long to see the long-awaited flow. This is the first time that a politician has shown a keen interest in the game which went viral this summer, and will generate a lot of interest when the stream finally goes live.
